As described in a previous post MSD has been considering reactivating an inactive taxing district used to fund storm sewer repairs and projects. Crestwood is part of the Gravois Creek OMCI (Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement) taxing district.
Today MSD informed the city that they decided against reactivating the Gravois Creek OMCI.
The good news is that our MSD bills won't include this "new" taxing element. The bad news is that Crestwood would have received many updates from that funding. There were apparently so many projects on their list that it would have taken decades for them to complete everything.
